This summer, Ekonaut, in cooperation with partner organizations, participates in events that are held throughout 2022 in Novi Sad as part of the European Capital of Culture in the "Danube Sea" program arc, which represents the cultural heritage and preservation of the natural resources of one of the largest European rivers. The European capital of culture now traditionally promotes the richness and diversity of European cultures, brings together people from different European countries, promotes mutual understanding and getting to know different cultures. The specificity of the program arc "Danube Sea" is in the combination of art and ecology, through programs that are a call to action for the preservation and care of the Danube, but it also introduces us to the heritage of the countries through which the Danube flows. The "Danube Sea" program is held within the "Pavilion on the Strand" which was set up for this occasion on the city beach, the epicenter of Novi Sad's summer life.
Programima koje organizujemo u saradnji sa partnerskim organizacijama Ekohub, Habiprot i Back Yard Brains se možete se aktivno priključiti from July 22 to 31. The activities of Ekonaut in Novi Sad under the name "Pannonian Garden" were supported by the "Novi Sad - European Capital of Culture" Foundation within the "Danube Sea" program arc.

"A Walk With a Biologist" - Kamenički Park, in cooperation with the association Habiprot from Novi Sad, July 23, Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
What kind of biodiversity can be seen in the immediate vicinity of the city, close to the Danube? This question will be answered by biologists from the Habiprot association during a walk in the popular "Kamenički Park", introducing you to species that you may not have noticed and that can be found in the park and on the banks of the Danube. On this occasion, you will find out how to recognize them, you will hear some interesting facts about them, and if you are particularly curious and want to research, you can find out from the members of "Habitprot" through which portals you can be part of collecting data on biodiversity and continue to spread your knowledge about the flora and fauna of Serbia. The gathering of the participants of the walk is at the Bridge of Freedom in Limanski Park at 9:00 a.m., after which they will walk to the park. The program is intended for all generations.

July 24, Sunday, 3-7 p.m., workshop "Interesting neuroscience" - Strand, in cooperation with the international organization of neuroscientists Back Yard Brains
In this workshop, we will show how easy it is to perform real neuroscience experiments. With a team of scientists, we will deal with various research questions about our nervous system and the basics of electrophysiology: Where do the electrical signals that control our muscles come from? How does our brain control them? What are ECG and EEG? In a relaxed atmosphere, we will perform various neuroscience experiments and discuss the results using open-source analysis tools. After this workshop, you will understand how neurons work, you will get a better picture of what neuroscience is all about.
The number of places at the workshop is not limited, but we recommend that you announce your presence via link
