Ekonaut organizes corporate volunteering actions for its clients. Our volunteer program for company employees includes both social and environmental action. In cooperation with educational institutions such as primary schools and kindergartens, we include business sector employees in the program of arranging yards and green areas of these institutions. In addition to beautifying children's space and contributing to a better quality of the environment of the entire community, employees also acquire basic gardening skills in this way.
Corporate volunteering is one of the socially responsible activities of companies which, in addition to positively contributing to the local community and environment, also contributes to a better reputation and improving the public image. Almost all successful companies in the world have volunteering programs for their employees, often compensating them as if they were at work.
Considering that school institutions in Serbia usually do not have enough resources to invest in the improvement of their yards, and that children in urban areas do not have enough contact with nature, Ekonaut specializes in organizing corporate volunteering actions that include arranging school and kindergarten yards. In this way, children and students get the opportunity to make contact with plants, which significantly contributes to their proper growth and development. For that reason, we especially focused on special needs schools and kindergartens where staying and playing in the open space, as well as contact with plants, are part of the therapy.
