Associations "Ekonaut" and "Neighbors from Dorćol" invite neighbors from the lower Dorćol of all generations to join us on Sunday, September 19, for the workshop WHAT KIND OF PARK DO WE WANT? in the premises of the association "Neighbors from Dorćol" at 55 Dobračina street, corner with Gundulićev venac, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, in order to play a game in which we would come up with the solutions for the park on the corner of Mihizova and Herceg Stjepanova, in accordance with user needs.
At the workshop WHAT KIND OF PARK DO WE WANT? both children and adults participate together in smaller groups, determining, during a given time interval of 30-45 minutes, in what way and to what extent certain elements of space /e.g. children's facilities, space for socializing, greenery, etc./ should be represented in the given space. This workshop is a model of active, participatory public space design that is increasingly used in urban planning of micro locations, in order to involve the local community in planning and gain understanding of this process.
