The third edition of the "Billiarnica online" program, which the Econaut association is conducting together with the well-known herbalist and journalist Momcilo Antonijević, will begin this December and will allow participants to acquire basic knowledge about medicinal plants in a period of three months.
The school of picking and using medicinal plants was started with the aim of preserving the knowledge of using these powerful gifts of nature and making them available to everyone. The program is intended for those who want to get acquainted with medicinal plants and ways of their use and thereby acquire knowledge that we have largely forgotten, and which is as old as humanity itself. During the course, participants will be able to learn the techniques of picking and drying plants, by which mechanisms they affect our health, as well as at what time and in what way it is best to use them - from teas and herbal mixtures, through tinctures, aromatherapy, and all the way to the use of medicinal herbs in the kitchen.
More than 100 participants have passed through the School of Medicinal Plants, which has been held twice a year since 2020 - live in the spring and online in the autumn - winter period, discovering the secrets of medicinal plants with Momcilo Antonijević. In this way, they learned the ways of picking medicinal herbs, their recognition, use and combination, in order to finally make herbal preparations at home.

The online course consists of 14 classes lasting two hours each and will allow participants to get to know medicinal plants, learn to distinguish them from similar species, master the techniques of picking and drying herbs and all this according to the dynamics that suit them, with the help of an always available mentor! In "Biljarnica Online" you will learn:
- Where they grow, how they are harvested, dried, stored and properly used medicinal plants
- How and from which plants infusions, decoctions, tinctures, oil macerates and balms are made
- Herbal mixtures - how they are made, how long they are taken; plants for different organ systems
- Contraindications and safety of the use of medicinal plants, poisonous plants
- How to grow medicinal plants in urban and rural conditions, as well as how to turn cultivating plants into a business. Medicinal plants in agriculture (natural fertilizers and insecticides)
- Groups of different active compounds in plants: basic mechanisms of action and proper use
- Medicinal plants for children
- Basics of aromatherapy - what essential oils are, how they work and how to use them properly
- Medicinal and wild plants in the kitchen
- How to adapt plants to yourself and create the best daily, individually adapted plant routine plan
Momčilo Antonijević is an editor, culturologist, folk herbalist. Master's degree at FPN at the Department of Cultural Theory. He writes and reports on medicinal plants for Blic and RTS. He is the author of a blog and YouTube channel "Snaga bilja" - ("The power of plants"). He published a collection of travelogues "How I became a traveler and stopped being a tourist". He combined his love for plants, cooking and writing in the collection of recipes "Divlji kuvar".
Program počinje 14. decembra i traje do 29. marta. Tokom ovog perioda svi polaznici i polaznice će na nedeljnom nivou dobijati privatni YouTube link za po jedan od 14 časova, koji su specijalno snimljeni za program „Biljarnice online“ tokom proleća i leta 2022. Linkovi će biti aktivirani i poslati korisnicima svake srede i biće aktivni do kraja aprila. Polaznici mogu da postavljaju pitanja u posebnoj Viber grupi koja će biti napravljena isključivo za ove svrhe ili direktno putem elektronske pošte. Program “Biljarnice online” možete pratiti gde god se nalazite, bilo da ste u Srbiji ili u inostranstvu, nema ograničenja. Polaznici na kraju programa dobijaju sertifikat o potpisan od strane mentora.

At the end of the "Billiards Online" program, an introduction and meeting with Momcilo Antonijević in Belgrade will be organized for all participants who will be able to physically attend, and on this occasion, dishes with wild, medicinal and fragrant plants will be served! The program takes place in the Serbian language.
