Online lecture „How do we create a better future?“ with Uwe Burka – Monday, November 9th at 19:30 h
In this rapidly deteriorating global situation, we need active people who want to develop sustainable ways of working and living. Old intellectual-materialistic forms of thought, which have brought us the problems of today, are unsuitable for shaping a better future. We now need more and more committed people who can also „think and develop the future“. For such an „expanded“ thinking, however, we need healthy „nourishment“ and better protection against the increasing electronic radiation exposure.
One of the fundamental tasks ahead of us will also be the reconstruction of humus in agricultural soils. As a result we will be rewarded with a reduction of CO2 values in the air, a much richer environment, healthier food and of course much more joy to walk across the countryside, especially if we do this with children and like-minded colleagues from a community supported agriculture (CSA).
Uwe Burka talks about his practical experience with solidarity-based city and agricultural communities and fair monetary systems. He is an international consultant for social-ecological settlement and urban development with new economic forms. He lived in two village communities with bio-dynamic agriculture, handicraft enterprises, social and cultural institutions and a new monetary system, which he helped to build up in a leading role. In the subsequent question and discussion session we will see who would like to make a practical commitment to a better world.
In his book „Jeder kann die Zukunft mitgestalten (Everybody can help shape the future)“, he discusses today’s problems and how they can be overcome. He is involved in creation of a „system-changing“ human based economy in the Bernese Oberland https://vorwaertsbeo.ch/#toggle-id-8 , in the Lake Constance region www.menschlichewirtschaftskultur.org and in the Freiburg region.
